ABOUT
Since its founding in the early 1990s, the primary functions of the Republican Club of Okaloosa County, Florida have been to help build the party and to keep party members informed regarding ongoing developments locally, statewide and nationally.

Each month a special guest speaker is hosted by the club to speak on topical issues of interest to Republicans. Our meetings with guest speakers are a great way to stay informed on vital issues and a way to meet our local, state and, sometimes, nationally elected officials. Getting to know our representatives in Government provides an avenue for understanding and discourse between the populace and elected officials.

Mary Potthast
Recording Secretary
Mary moved to Okaloosa County in July 1986 with her family days after graduating high school. She attended college at then Okaloosa Walton Junior College and received her B.S. at the University of West Florida, Pensacola. Then joined and help grow the Emerald Coast Young Republican club of Okaloosa County, eventually serving as club president. Since 1992, Mary has been a volunteer election poll worker.
Today, in addition to serving as the Recording Secretary for the Okaloosa Republican Club, Mary also serves as a county Republican Precinct Committeewoman and the parliamentarian for the Okaloosa County Republican Party (OCREC) and enjoys membership in Republican Women of Okaloosa Federated (RWOF).
